Hot and bothered

It's still hot and boring here in Arlington Texas.

Yesterday's highlight: More vaginoplasty on TV.

Weekend Highlight: I met one of the better known JFK assassination researchers while in Dealy Plaza. Jeff Groden's credentials include working as an advisor on the set of Oliver Stone's movie JFK. He even played the part of the projectionist at the Clay Shaw trial and one of the doctors at Parkland Hospital. Mr Groden was a participant in the House Select Committee on Assassinations, and wrote many books about the assassination. I was very surprised to find him among the vultures who sold material or gave impromptu 'tours', but if I had to bet on where I would find him, Dealy Plaza would be the place.

Tonight's Highlight: Shannon Doherty.

The weather changed while I'm eating dinner at Salt Grass. The rain is coming down hard at a forty five degree angle, and I have to walk back to the hotel with my laptop under my arm. I guess I'll stick around and wait out the storm.
