Gone to Cyrodiil Part 2
Cyrodill is an area in a much larger world known as Tamriel. South of Cyrodiil are the provinces of Valenwood and Elsweyr. To the North is Skyrim. I've been told by someone who has been there that Skyrim is very cold. To the southeast is the Black Marsh, and on the eastern border is Morrowind. I know Morrowind very well.
I first visited Cyrodiil by way of its prison system and I got out of the dungeon by accident. Three guards and Emporer Tiber Septim himself passed through my prison cell on their way out of the Imperial City by means of a secret passage. The emporer felt that the gods had placed me in that cell on purpose. I told him that I am not in good standing with the gods, but he felt that our meeting was part of a divine plan. Just before he died, he gave me an amulet and told me to find his heir and shut the doors of Oblivion.
What I'm describing exists only on my computer and many others. Cyrodiil and the realm of Oblivion are the latest RPG from Bethesda Softworks. I used to turn my nose up at the fantasy genre and RPGs, but after I found Morrowind, I don't look at it the same way. The possibilities in Morrowind and Oblivion are nearly without end, so for around 40 dollars I find a lot of entertainment and new ways to exercise my creativity.
