The Highs and Lows

There's some hubub at the other site. Got a comment that told me to quit whining and git R done. Get over it, get on with your life, in other words. Not bad advise. What else can we do?

One thing I can do is get to work writing. My urge to create has had a long battle with my urge to goof off. Both are an escape, but goofing off is easier. Creating in general, and writing in particular, are much harder, though more rewarding. I guess that's obvious. More thoughts here.
