I Found A Meme

While roaming around NaBloPoMo, I found a Meme at Sugared Harpy. I've been meaning to do one, so I chose hers.

1. Name something you have in common with all your siblings:

We breathe air.

2. What is the greatest amount of physical pain you have ever endured?

The day my back got even with me for all the things I did to it.

3. What number of drinks constitutes your limit?

Two beers is it. Normally I stop at one. My drinking days are long behind me.

4. Do you fold your underwear?

Nope. I had a roommate who did. Pretty impressive. And tidy.

5. Have you fired a gun before?

Yes. Believe it or not, I do have a shotgun that I’ve never fired once in nine years. All my skeet shooting buddies moved away.

6. What was your favorite childhood toy?

Trains.

7. Name a sound that disturbs you?

Gunfire. I mean other people's.

8. Name something random that you would never do.

I’ll take an easy one and say that I will never randomly steal. I won’t steal after much planning either.

9. Name a person whose diary you would love to read.

Wifey-Do’s smoking hot friend.

10. Have you ever had the same dream more than once?

Yes. Funny how I always die at the end.

11. Name a song that makes you happy.

If you can call what goes by the label of Techno a ‘song’ I’ll go with that. Today’s wam-bam zoom-boom wake up music is Synaesthesia by the Trillseekers.

12. If you were in an emergency situation and you had to deliver a baby, could you do it?

Does this mean I have to learn about emergency deliveries? Uh-oh, my attorney has just informed me that my prenatal insurance has lapsed. You’re on your own, mama.

13. What do you like about being in a committed relationship?

Believe it or not, I like the structure. All I have to do is go to work, and the wife takes care of everything else. I have to be the most pampered husband on the planet.

14. What do you dislike about being in a committed relationship?

Telling hot, young, well educated, employed girls with long dark hair that I’m married. You should see that smile of theirs turn upside down

15. Name something you have to do tomorrow:

Hold on. I’m thinking. Oh yeah, make coffee and drink it.

16. Name a movie you are looking forward to watching:

Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing. I don’t know why I’m in a Spike Lee mood, but I am. Let's not forget the 'final' cut of Blade Runner.

17. Name something you’ve heard about women that tends to be true:

They are competitive with each other.

18. Do you own an iPod?

Yes. Got my Techno and Trance going right now!

19. Do any of your friends have children?

Yes. One has a huge Viking oven that holds three of them.

20. What CD is currently in your CD player?

My old CD player is empty, like so many others.

21. Do you prefer regular or chocolate milk?

Regular. And by that I mean whole milk. Not some percentage of milk, but whole milk.

30. What movie do you know every line to?

There is no movie that I know that well.

31. Where was your last vacation?

Hanging around Portland. Honestly, where else do I need to go? (I’ll admit that another trip to San Francisco would be nice.)

32. Are you currently wanting any piercings or tattoos?

No. I’m not into getting any of those.

33. When was the last time you slept on the floor?

Back in my drinking days, I recall my buddy had a mattress in his basement, and that is where I crashed. Dave was a good buddy. Always had a couch or an old mattress for me to land on.

34. Do you watch the news?
No. What for? Let me see, there is a war going on somewhere, the stock market is either up or down, cars crashed on the freeway, and some girl has gone missing. Did I miss anything?

35. Do you feel alone?

No. But then, I’m a loner at heart.

She doesn't keep a diary. Maybe you should see if that young, dark-haired, employed, "well-educated" hot thing you had to tell you are married will let you read hers.

Thirty-Five questions and this is what you zero in on?

Speaking of the young and dark, we at The Alley have been thinking of hosting a fictitious blog with a single fictitious character. Just another way of telling a story. Then we would be reading the girls diary.

Actually, my comment pertained to 2 questions...numbers 9 & 14. I'm sure you didn't want to hear what I had to say about the fact that your favorite thing about being married is that you don't have to do anything besides go to work ;-)
