Keep it Alive (Check the Pulse)
Been riding. Ain't been writing. Is this the end of The Alley? It won't fade away. But I keep saying, "Got to get a post done. Need to get that story, no, the two stories done for the other site." Good intentions paving the Internet superhighway.
Surely there's more adventures on the rough streets of Portland, with inattentive joggers, occasional cyclists weaving in front of me, little dogs pulling their leashes across my path, and that guy on his Cervelo P3 time trial bike that I see on the East Bank Esplanade. That's five thousand dollars worth of bike folks. Haven't we found more charming coffee baristas lately? Oh, there is plenty to talk about.
By the way, that's a picture of my Gyro Kite helicopter above. That was the last flight, as it broke a blade when it came down hard. Ten years old. I guess I can't complain.

Our Site Meter hooyah has turned a funky green. An update, I guess.
Turning green is an improvement? Oh well.
Too bad the kite broke. We need to find another blade. Add that to the get 'round to it list.
Oh and Ms. Barista sits her tookus down for two hours every day to write. What's our excuse?
I'm training. I climb hills. I put on the miles. Steady. Persistent. Going to do that century this season.
But I can squeeze a word or two in here, I'll admit.
Hey, I checked on the kite. It's available with a new rotor design and in four different colors. I'm only a mouse click away from a new one.
