Splish Splash (Taking a Bath)

I got in a good ride today, picked up some food, and returned to the hotel, and turned on the television. This is the first time in over a month I've watched anything, either here or in Portland. Not much has changed. Explosions abroad, debates about what to do, and endless videos of tragedies. Today's tragedy of interest was about train wrecks. Let me just say that if someone describes some aspect of you, your fashion, your upbringing, or whatever, as a train wreck, it's worse than you think. Mucho grande worse.

Room service cleaned up the place yesterday, so I took a bath. I normally don't do that, but the sparkly clean porcelain tub tempted me. It's funny how every time I consider taking a bath, I'm reminded of Amber. She posted pictures of herslef in her tub, sometimes reading, sometimes thinking about something. She seems so alone in there. I don't know if it reminds me of my own solitude or something else.

I showered off, sat down to write this, and now I'll get in a nap.

That link to Amber's main page is there because we couldn't find the tub picutres. We looked and we looked.

I looked in the wheat fields. By the train tracks (Watch OUT!), out in the hallway. Nowhere. But I'm notorious for not finding things.

I want to visit more - & not just because you mention me, heh.

Your writings are beautiful, and I'm not just saying that to stroke your cat fur.

In light of my post "Five Things I Keep From Three People I Knew", I must agree.

And thank you, our cat fur feels better.
