The Trick

Rainy days like this tell us who is dedicated to cycling and who isn't. I don't mind the rain. There's something satisfying in braving nature's challenge. Granted, I'm only talking about going to work and back. Hard rain tempts me to drive, but I void that choice with a simple trick. I don't put gas in the truck. If I have five or ten bucks, I buy coffee at World Cup. World Cup Coffee or Big Oil? It's an obvious decision. The most effective trick is to entertain a human trait that normally leads to no good; I say "I'll deal with it tomorrow."
