What are we up to?

I got a reply on a post that asked what all of the women on this site have to do with the cat and the alley? The next question had those four magic words, "Is there a story?" The word story makes my ears perk up, and it got me to thinking about where this site is heading. However I do have an explanation, so let me start there.

First, the the women. They're meant to be a temporary backdrop until I get a better alley shot, but I don't want to remove them. The female form is something that always has my attention.

The Alley Cat decided, as a cat person would, to use a picutre of his cat, Pepper, as the avatar. He remembered the cats of the Warner Brothers cartoons as being in alley-ways, doing the stray cat thing, and the site is meant to be a place for our 'thought of the day', so that's how the name came about.

And how I fit into all of this? Well, I'll just say if our life is a story, The Alley Cat is the good character, and I am the less than good one. But my introduction is in the archives... here.

It's late, and I need to go to bed. The Alley Cat and I have much to think about. Who knows, maybe Thoughts From The Alley is in for a big change.
