Kiss them for me

I'm always tinkering with both sites, and I've decided to never post a pic I haven't taken. So, I've been thinking of where in downtown to get a new alley shot, but then I scanned some photos and came up with the background you see here. I'm so in love with Elan's eyes that I doubt there will be another alley background for a long time. I feel wierd seeing my photos on the internet when I think of where technology was at the time.

Of all the ladies to step in front of my cameras, Elan was my favorite. She could be coy, indifferent, naughty, dangerous, and more. I had only begun to tap her potential. I adored all of the ladies and wish them well. Back then, I lovingly crafted my work in the bathtub and took it with me to a place called The Metro, a group of restaurants in downtown Portland. I would meet my friends and find out what they had been up to. A lot of them were from some far away place; France, Sweden, Somalia, Japan. There's a song by the Pet Shop Boys whose line reminds me of the time: we were never being boring, we were never being bored.
